Known on the field as Coach Rachael, she works with keepers from the youngest micros all the way through U13, helping them build the specialized skills, confidence, and mindset needed to excel in one of the most important positions on the field.

Coach Rachael’s journey with Gala began in 2022 as a player, and in 2026 she stepped into a coaching role to share her passion and experience with the next generation of goalkeepers. A proud supporter of the Seattle Sounders, she looks up to legendary U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo and proudly represents the iconic goalkeeper jersey number #1.

For Coach Rachael, soccer is a universal language—bringing players together through teamwork, communication, and a shared love for the game. If she could witness any match live, it would be the 2022 World Cup Final, one of the greatest stages in the sport.

Her cleats of choice are the Nike Tiempo, known for their reliability and comfort during intense training sessions.

As a goalkeeper, Coach Rachael strongly believes that repetition is key to success. Challenging weather never stops her motivation—in fact, she embraces it. Training in rain, heat, or cold prepares keepers for real match conditions, and in Washington especially, getting those reps in the rain is essential.

According to Coach Rachael, successful soccer players understand their strengths while constantly pushing themselves to improve their weaknesses. At Gala FC, she is excited to help young goalkeepers grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game while protecting the goal for their teams.
